Why does it always seem that EVERYTHING happens at once? Well, it has been one of those Mondays. First of all, we had a funeral to go to for one of Jake's buddies. That's bad enough in itself. OK, so here is the story. I get home from work about 12:00 and start getting Jake's clothes ready. Jake's brother and SIL had came in for the funeral and are staying with us. So all 3 take a shower within 30-45 minutes of each other. It's about 30 minutes before we have to leave for the funeral and his brother walks in the kitchen and yells that there is water every where! Our hot water heater had leaked ALL of the kitchen floor!!!!!!!!!! We use all the towels in the house plus some blankets to soak it up and keep it away from the carpet and get it away from the cabinets and walls. We get the water "contained" and have to leave. We ended up having to buy a new water heater and they just now got it in, and of course after ANOTHER trip to town for more parts.
Well, now after all the excitement I have to go get ready for work. Plus wash some towels for tomorrow morning. I'm praying for an easy week.
